Merci , is a lovely concept store,  mixing fashion, beauty, deco and lifestyle, and the café is charming, furnished with vintage chairs and chandeliers,  the walls are lined with second hand books in several languages to browse as you eat or to buy. Cabbages and Condoms is a nice restaurant with a purpose. The profit of the restaurant goes to projects concerning safe sex and aids-awareness in Thailand.

They serve good thai food with the well-known spiciness. I love their stir-fried chicken with chilli and basil leaves, and instead of the classic aftermeal mints you get a condom.

D´Espresso at Madison avenue is one of the coolest coffee shops,  go and check out the design,  the interior look like a library flipped on its side, inspired by the nearby New York Public Library in Bryant Park and designed by Nema workshop.  The staff is friendly and the coffee is excellent!   This is where I have my espresso when I´m in Nyc.

Feather Boa is a hidden gem, it´s a small,  hip bar with a flair of boudoir interior, they serve the best chocolate rimmed strawberry daiquiris you ever tasted!  The bar isn´t so easy to identify from the outside,  there is no signs,  so look for the blue door with curtains.
